



INSECT TOWER - MEDIUM MODEL - ESAT LE MORVAN
To boost life in your garden and ensure beautiful harvests in the vegetable patch, this hotel can accommodate all kinds of friendly insects such as wild bees and bumblebees, wonderful pollinators, as well as ladybugs, lacewings, or earwigs, which are great predators of all vegetable garden pests.
A natural and effective method to maintain biodiversity and balance in the garden.
Extremely robust insect hotel, made of 15mm PEFC-certified Douglas fir, filled with drilled logs, moss, straw, pine cones, etc., all gathered respectfully and locally.
Handcrafted by an ESAT in the Morvan, France.
Dimensions: 140 x 130 x 480 mm
- Elevated from the ground, minimum 30 cm.
- Near a flower bed, a hedge, or the vegetable garden.
- Facing south or southeast, so that it can warm up well.
- In a quiet spot, and well protected from the wind.
- Installation is best in early autumn so that insects can settle in and hibernate in peace. Can also be installed year-round.
Established in 1991, ESAT Le Morvan in Montsauche, located in the heart of the Morvan Regional Natural Park, is one of the facilities within the Work Assistance Program.
ESAT Le Morvan has successfully leveraged local wealth: wood, particularly Douglas fir, which is naturally weather-resistant, by working with it in various forms.
- It accommodates up to 39 disabled workers and provides daily support for its users, as well as managing various adapted workshops and services: Production of outdoor wooden furniture for local authorities
- Production of birdhouses, bird feeders, nativity scenes, and insect hotels for large retailers
- Maintenance of green spaces for private individuals, professionals, and local authorities.
ESAT Le Morvan holds the "Morvan Nature et Talents" label, meeting specifications regarding its geographical location and local wood purchasing. This guarantees "very" local sourcing, mutual support between companies, and a commitment to promoting Morvan authenticity by showcasing the region.
