COPPER DIBBER - MAÏA - PKS TOOLS
This curved beechwood dibber, with a very tapered end, is used effortlessly for planting young seedlings, large seeds, and bulbs. Made of rolled copper (the only 100% pure) with the tip welded using silver solder.
Dimensions: 31 x 4 cm / Weight: 190 g
Benefits of copper:
- They are beautiful, lightweight, easy to handle, and have a long lifespan,
- Effective: copper penetrates the soil more easily than steel or iron,
- When working the soil, you add copper trace elements, essential for plant growth, which positively influence soil hydration. Copper boosts soil life!
- Non-magnetic, has bacteriostatic and antifungal properties,
- No rust or verdigris, no special maintenance required; clean after use and store in a dry place.
A copper tool boosts soil life: According to research by Viktor Schauberger, an Austrian biotechnician from the early 20th century, the mechanical wear of iron tools leaves a deposit of ferrous particles in the soil. This forms a layer of rust that promotes soil drying.
Conversely, a PKS tool will leave behind microparticles of copper, a trace element essential for the growth of plants (as well as humans and animals). In plants, it plays an important role in seed production, disease resistance, and water regulation. Schauberger was not the first to recognize this phenomenon. For hundreds of years, the Chinese of ancient empires refrained from using iron for their gardening work.
In 1995, Johannes Stadler implemented the ideas of Viktor and Walter Schauberger in collaboration with the PKS Institute (Pythagoras Kepler System), "Institute for the Promotion of Natural Technologies."
His team manufactures these magnificent copper alloy tools entirely by hand.
“UNDERSTAND AND COPY NATURE”.
Walter Schauberger founded the “GREEN FRONT” in 1949, the first environmental protection movement in Austria.
At that time, Walter Schauberger, a graduate engineer, was deeply involved in research and teaching based on his father's findings, which were rooted in detailed observations of natural phenomena.
Viktor Schauberger (1885 – 1958), a forest warden, naturalist, and inventor, made numerous discoveries in various fields in the 1930s and 40s, including forestry, agriculture, hydraulics, water refining, and free energy – on which he left behind several comprehensive works.
As early as the 1920s, Viktor had warned of an impending environmental crisis. At the time, he was not taken seriously and was even ridiculed. Today, of course, his predictions are becoming reality ...
PKS = “Pythagoras Kepler System” Institute for the Promotion of Natural Technologies
Its goal is to promote natural technologies according to the principles discovered and developed by Viktor and Walter Schauberger: The PKS Institute, founded by Walter Schauberger, has for decades been a research center where the archives of his father Viktor's work are housed. These archives are being progressively made accessible to the public, edited into various publications and books.
In 1995, Johannes Stadler implemented the ideas of Viktor and Walter Schauberger in collaboration with the PKS association and blacksmith Franz Höfler, and began distributing a small series of hand-crafted garden tools made from a solid copper alloy.
The original copper tools, developed by the PKS Bronze company in Bad Ischl, Austria, are entirely handmade by a master blacksmith.
For his work, he uses a copper and tin alloy, in which copper makes up 92% of the composition. This alloy is then cold-hardened (by hammering) to allow the material to acquire exceptional strength.
Copper tools are perfect for daily gardening tasks. Copper is an elastic metal, resistant to impact, even in difficult situations. If it has been bent, it can be easily repaired by hammering.
These high-quality tools, which actively contribute to soil improvement in harmony with nature, are crafted with the utmost care.
