Made from 75% lambswool and 25% Angora, the Barra beanie is Mackie's great unisex classic.

Excellent manufacturing quality, warm, soft and comfortable, available in a wide variety of colors, it can be worn with one or two folds.

Robert Mackie, a company founded in 1845, still traditionally manufactures Scottish clan berets. Today famous for the quality of its MADE IN SCOTLAND beanies, Mackie uses only natural yarns, primarily high-quality lambswool, to create responsible & sustainable products.

Founded in 1845 in Ayrshire, Scotland, the Robert Mackie company manufactured "Scotland’s famous Bonnet Toun," the traditional berets worn by Scottish clans, and worn during ceremonies by regiments and pipe bands.

Proud of its craftsmanship passed down through generations, the company continues to make the traditional berets for which it is world-renowned, but today it applies this expertise to producing contemporary hats, scarves, and gloves.

Today famous for the quality of its made-in-Scotland hats, Mackie uses only natural yarns, primarily high-quality lambswool, to manufacture responsible & sustainable products.
