Robert Mackie, a company founded in 1845, still traditionally manufactures Scottish clan berets. Today famous for the quality of its MADE IN SCOTLAND beanies, Mackie uses only natural yarns, primarily high-quality lambswool, to create responsible & durable products.

Founded in 1845 in Ayrshire, Scotland, Robert Mackie manufactured "Scotland’s famous Bonnet Toun," the traditional berets worn by Scottish clans, and worn during ceremonies by regiments and pipe bands.

Proud of its craftsmanship passed down through generations, the company continues to make the traditional berets for which it is world-renowned, but today it puts this expertise to use producing contemporary beanies, scarves, and gloves.

Now famous for the quality of its "made in Scotland" beanies, Mackie uses only natural yarns, primarily high-quality lambswool, to create responsible & sustainable products.
