Traditionally woven in the heart of the Rhodope Mountains, a majestic and isolated mountain range in southern Bulgaria. This region, known for its preserved nature and resilient communities, is home to a weaving tradition that has been passed down for centuries.
We have worked with a responsible company, created to preserve the unique weaving expertise of local artisans, using wool from "Karakachan" sheep, a rare Bulgarian breed that was on the verge of extinction a few decades ago.

Care:
Natural wool possesses antiseptic and water-repellent properties. It contains a sebum that makes it "waterproof," so dirt stays on the surface. We mainly recommend airing your blanket outdoors. If you must wash it, hand wash or dry cleaning is recommended; otherwise, machine wash on a cold cycle with a wool-specific detergent. Do not spin dry, do not tumble dry.
