Nest box Hanging feeder, in untreated Morvan Douglas fir, entrance diameter 32 mm, for great tits, nuthatches, tree or house sparrows, white-fronted redstarts, and many other small cave dwellers, placed in the point with the support of the league for the protection of birds.

A ring to hang the fat balls, a space for the seeds.

The modification of our landscapes, the disappearance of hedges, the intensification of urbanization, have caused the scarcity of natural sites suitable for the nesting of many birds.

In town or in the countryside, installing a nest box helps them find a place and spend less energy making their nest.

For a pair of birds, spending less energy means having more for searching for food, and better feeding their young!

For us, these are hours of magical observation every day, and for the vegetable garden, birds like bats are the best natural insecticides!

In PEFC certified 10mm Douglas fir, handcrafted by an Esat in Morvan.

Established in 1991, ESAT Le Morvan in Montsauche, located in the heart of the Morvan Regional Natural Park, is one of the facilities within the Work Assistance Program.

ESAT Le Morvan has successfully leveraged local wealth—wood, particularly Douglas fir, which is naturally resistant for outdoor use—by crafting it into various forms.

  • It accommodates up to 39 disabled workers and provides daily support for its users, as well as managing various workshops and adapted services: Production of wooden outdoor furniture for local communities
  • Production of birdhouses and feeders, nativity scenes, and insect hotels for large retailers
  • Maintenance of green spaces for individuals, professionals, and local communities.

ESAT Le Morvan holds the "Morvan Nature et Talents" label, meeting specifications regarding its geographical location and local wood procurement. This guarantees "very" local sourcing, mutual support between businesses, and a commitment to promoting Morvan authenticity by enhancing the territory.

ESAT Le Morvan is a member of the GESAT Network (Group of Work Assistance Establishments and Services).
