Capacity of 8L, wooden handle, hand painted, here it is the paint which protects it from corrosion. Be careful not to store it for too long in a humid environment, it is not galvanized, dry after use.
Kovotvar has been producing accessories for the garden and home, with a simple and functional design since 1953. Manufacturing at the Kúty workshop, Slovakia, has remained completely artisanal. The Top’la cooperative was founded in 1953 in Kúty, Slovakia, by wheelwrights, carpenters, and blacksmiths. In 1964, it became KOVOTVAR, merging with other local cooperatives, expanding its scope of activities by taking over the production of galvanized products and the modernization of zinc furnaces.
During the communist era, Kovotvar Kúty supplied the entire Slovak population with galvanized zinc buckets and watering cans. Today, these home and garden accessories, with their simple, practical, and timeless design, have not changed.
Manufacturing has remained entirely artisanal; while competitors coat products with zinc on automated lines, in Kúty it is done by hand, always in pursuit of the highest manufacturing quality.
Long service life and low costs make hot-dip galvanizing the most economical method of protecting steel against corrosion, and zinc coating reduces energy consumption.
Unlike traditional industrial varnishes, the powders used for electrostatic painting avoid the use of chemical solvents and release very few volatile compounds, both of which are hazardous to health and the environment. They allow for the manufacture of items suitable for indoor use, objects safe for food contact, or children's toys. It is highly resistant to moisture, UV rays, corrosion, impacts, scratches, etc. It offers an excellent lifespan and requires minimal maintenance.
It is for all these reasons that Kovotvar products are extremely healthy, solid, completely watertight, and last for a very, very long time.
