A real trapper's pan in "black embossed iron", ideal for cooking over a campfire or stove (as well as on any heat source, stove, oven, induction, etc.)
The handle, held by solid brass wing nuts, can be removed for easy storage in your backpack, and carrying your pan anywhere! The wood of the handle (British oak) can also be removed for use in the oven.
Similar to the properties of cast iron, but much lighter with a 50% lower weight, spun iron, 99.1% pure, offers excellent cooking performance, very high conductivity and heat storage, heats evenly, withstands ultra high temperatures.
Seasoning allows very healthy cooking, without fat, it is the natural non-stick solution. Already seasoned with natural organic linseed oil, Netherton products are ready to use.
Unwearable, improving over time, a Netherton product is passed down from generation to generation. Each product is "turned" by hand, each piece is unique and may be significantly different. Handcrafted in Shropshire (UK).

Care:
- Simply wash with hot water.
- Do not use soap or detergent.
- Dry immediately.

- Oven seasoning is gentler than stovetop seasoning and also provides a better finish.
Use:
- Be patient; before turning food, let the Maillard reaction happen—it’s so much better! Surface caramelization seals in the food's natural juices while keeping the inside tender. It will release easily.
- Do not cook food straight from the refrigerator; let it come to room temperature.
- Heat slowly, then you can increase to full power. This is especially important if you are using powerful cooking surfaces such as induction.
- Remove handle covers for use in the oven or under the grill; it's super simple.
- Never plunge a hot pan into cold water.
- The more you use your pan, pot, dish, etc., the more the patina develops, and the better they get!
