The seagull lets out shrill cries (which are sometimes irritating to the ear...) often while in flight. Seagulls are very talkative when they are in groups.
Hold the call in your full hand, with one finger over each of the two small holes. Blow with vigor and charm, modulating the sound by moving your fingers, while the other hand acts as a variable megaphone and can even completely block the end - which produces short cries. "Krriech".

Quelle Est Belle Company bird calls have been handcrafted for over 40 years by François Morel and his team in the Drôme region, on a farm in the heart of lush, preserved nature.
It is there that he designs, meticulously develops, and tests all of his creations.
Each bird call is unique, turned, assembled, and varnished by hand.
He uses only natural, local wood species, such as boxwood, beech, or linden.
There are only 2 bird call manufacturers left in France; the other one is dedicated to hunting.
“You might think I’m a bit of a crackpot, but oh well…”
From the age of 6, François Morel (not the actor, mind you) began to fascinate himself with birds.
“I’m completely crazy about them, that’s for sure. When I was very little, what I wanted was to talk to animals. Personally, I believe it works. Thanks to my vocal tools, I manage to get a bit closer to the birds, listen to them, answer them, and occasionally have exchanges…”
A naturalist and ornithologist, François Morel dedicates his passion to crafting bird calls. Rather than using them to kill, François wanted the calls to become a tool for observing birds.
To create these instruments, he combines two qualities. “It’s a story of craftsmanship and a love story.”
He established his company, “Quelle est belle company,” over forty years ago in the Diois region, in the north of the Drôme.
