The CAST AMBER collection is designed to evoke feelings of nostalgia and comfort, as if viewing an old photograph. Designed by Kosei Shirotani, it is a materialization of Kosei's Japanese philosophy of "Uninterfering Design." It represents a minimalist and functional movement that seeks for the object to recede, making space for the experience itself.

Kinto was founded in 1979 in Hikone, Shiga Prefecture, Japan, in a rural landscape with no train station or main road nearby.

This is where the designers create simple, beautiful, and functional objects: a Japanese philosophy designed for everyday life.

Since 2023, KINTO FARM has been in operation, a farm built from scratch on raw land, serving as a field for exploring a lifestyle connected to nature, the seasons, and the community.

KINTO encourages a sustainable lifestyle, creating designs that adapt to all ways of living, whether sedentary or nomadic, indoors or outdoors—designs that accompany you everywhere, at any time of the day.
