Founded in 1972 by Earl Beard, Stan Ray began by making painter's overalls and carpenter pants for all the construction companies in Brooklyn, in a small sewing workshop in Crockett, in the heart of Texas, USA.
The idea that launched Earl and his label Stan Ray in 1972 was twofold:
1 - His goal was to have sturdy workwear that would last year after year.
2 - He wanted his clothes to be made in the U.S.A.
He therefore began his design mission and created in his workshop the most stylish, comfortable, and durable workwear he could imagine.
Today, the quality remains exactly the same. Earl's grandchildren, who lead the family business, have continued to make Grandpa Earl's dream a reality.
