YETI: Performance and durability above all
In 2006, in their father's garage in Dripping Springs, Texas, brothers Roy and Ryan Seiders were tired of coolers that cracked in the sun and gave out under the weight of the first big fish placed on them.
As lifelong anglers, they decided to build the cooler they had always wanted: rotomolded in one piece, insulated like a freezer, and capable of serving as a casting platform without flinching.
The philosophy has remained the same ever since: never compromise on durability. YETI products are designed to last for decades. It is a deliberate choice against the throwaway culture: an object that you don't replace is an object that you don't need to rebuy.
