This set brings together the two most familiar tits in our gardens. As anthropophilic species, they seek out human presence and approach without hesitation. If you don't see them, whistle their song; they will first answer you, and then appear!
The great tit, the largest: black cap, white cheeks, bright yellow belly with a black stripe down the middle. This one rules the feeder, throwing its weight around to chase off others! Its song is also the easiest to spot and imitate: a hammered, resonant "Ti Ti Pu - Ti Ti Pu" that is unmistakable.
The blue tit, the smallest: barely ten grams, a bright blue cap, white cheeks, and a plain yellow belly with no black stripe. It is a true ball of energy: curious, agile, never still, always in motion, searching through bark and buds.
Using a bird call means learning to recognize birds by their song, communicating with them, discovering them, observing them…
A bird call is above all an educational nature toy for fun, because we believe that you must "know nature better to protect it better."
Each bird call is delivered in a lovely wooden box, with all the information needed for its use. Handcrafted in the Drôme region.

Blue tit: a singer, sometimes nervous, sometimes capricious, occasionally charming. At first, blow twice, then, while pulling the piston after the second hole, blow again: "Tu - tu...iii...". Great tit: it has a large vocabulary. Its little calls are varied, changeable, and alert. Mainly "Titi - pu" and also "Tui tui". Hold the bird call with your thumb and middle finger. Blow very calmly twice, hitting the notes well, then plug the hole on the boxwood with your index finger and blow one more time. Quelle Est Belle Company bird calls have been created and handcrafted for over 40 years by François Morel and his team in the Drôme, on a farm in the heart of lush, preserved nature. It is there that he designs, spends time perfecting, and tests all his creations. Each bird call is unique, turned, assembled, and varnished by hand. He only uses natural and local wood species, such as boxwood, beech, or linden. There are only 2 bird call manufacturers left in France; the other is dedicated to hunting.

"You might think I'm a bit crazy, but well..."
From the age of 6, François Morel (not the actor, eh) became fascinated by birds:
"I am absolutely crazy about them, that's clear. When I was very little, what I wanted was to talk to animals. I believe it works. Thanks to my speech tools, I manage to get a little closer to the birds, listen to them, answer them, and, from time to time, have exchanges..."
A naturalist and ornithologist, François Morel is devoted to crafting his bird calls. Rather than using them for hunting, François wanted bird calls to become a tool for observing birds. To create these instruments, he combines two qualities. "It's a story of craftsmanship and a love story." He established his company, "Quelle est belle company," over forty years ago in the Diois, in the north of the Drôme.
