Calms the skin and the mind. A limited edition of the natural soothing balm, delicately scented here with Bergamot, in collaboration with Zzzen™.

Calm Balm provides localized relief for dry, damaged, or sensitive skin. It eases itching from insect bites, eczema flare-ups, and aids in the healing of tattoos and everyday burns. Can be applied to the wrists to improve mood or promote sleep; can also be used as a lip balm.

Mirlo products are made in the Loire by Julie Darnat, in small batches.

Concerns: Suitable for all skin types, from age 6 and up. Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Scent: Fresh and delicate, citrus.

Texture: Balm-in-oil. Water-free texture, fine but concentrated.

Usage: Apply a thin layer to the area with clean hands. Be sure to use much less product than you would with a cream.

The balm contains no water: the guarantee of a skincare product rich in high-quality ingredients, without anything superfluous, and sustainable.

Storage: 9 months after opening. Test the product in a small amount on the wrist 48 hours before the first application. Non-photosensitizing formula (furocoumarin-free).

Mirlo, botanical soapmaking since 2020

Mirlo was founded by Julie Darnat in December 2020, in the Monts de la Madeleine, where she practices artisanal cold-process soapmaking. The name Mirlo, "blackbird" in Spanish, is a nod to Chantemerle-les-Blès, the village where she grew up.

Nature is an integral part of Mirlo's botanical skincare and its production. Each formula is inspired by the living world and aims to respect it through reasoned choices. The range is crafted in a very artisanal way, in limited series, from rigorously selected raw materials.

Cold-process soapmaking

A manual, slow technique that consumes little energy. Raw oils and butters are mixed without the addition of heat, which preserves their active properties. Each bar is cut by hand and left to cure for at least four weeks. The result: gentle and nourishing soaps that take care of your skin.

Local and reasoned sourcing

Julie harvests some raw materials herself: immortelle, plantain, depending on the seasons and local resources. The hemp oil is organic and local, grown and pressed in the Loire, 30 minutes from the workshop. When local sourcing is not possible (coconut oil, essential for lather, does not grow in France), she prioritizes a fair-trade and certified organic supply chain. The same logic applies to the boxes: regional printer, quality paper.
